Preventive measures form an integral part of the programme.
We look at travel to and from venues, dress and attitudes when out and about, threat recognition and avoiding confrontation, dealing with physical violence, as well as practical measures such as staying in hotels, checking emergency exits, changing routines and locking doors.
We also offer advice of issues ranging from travelling in lifts to using carparks and techniques for assessing the security of your environment.

Timeactive is an operational company and as such our trainers have extensive specialist security backgrounds and all are still operational on live deployments.
Our close protection course is accredited and covers the core competences as specified by the security industry authority. The course is delivered over 15 days (150 hours)
This is an intensive and disciplined course and candidates must be prepared to put in 100% at all times, the course accumulates in a live operation, protecting a real V.I.P.
Please note an approved First Aid Certificate is required prior to commencement on the close protection course. Timeactive can provide this training if required.
To obtain the level 2 national certificate in Door Supervision you need to attend a two part training course. including the multiple choice exams.
Part One - Role and responsibilities of a door supervisor (14 hours)
Part Two - Communication skills and conflict management (14 hours)
The exam is set at the end of each session and candidates are informed of their results.
The course total training time is 30 hours including the 2 x 1 hour exams.
